Over the past two years, leading a dynamic US-based agency and managing a global team has reinforced my belief that effective leadership stems from clarity, adaptability, and empowering others. The guiding principles that have consistently driven my approach revolve around establishing a compelling vision, embracing change proactively, and setting a disciplined example for my team to follow.
- Vision and Strategy: Craft a clear and compelling vision for the company‘s future and develop a strategic plan to achieve it.
- Adaptability: Be flexible and open to change. Adapt to new technologies, market trends, and customer needs.
- Lead by example. If you’re disciplined, people will follow you. If you are depressed people will feel you.
- Get as much free time as you desire for family, travel or just get away from business.
- ASK QUESTIONS, EMPOWER, INSPIRE, DO NOT DOMINATE THE CALLS.
- Your success depends on the success of others. Shift your focus from “ME” to “WE.”
- Build on strength. Invest in your good people.
- Surround yourself with the RIGHT PEOPLE. Hire for fit, train for skill, hire people who are better than you! Cut your losses early. Take action quickly to avoid having the rest of the team distracted by a poor hire.
- Have the right systems in place for the employees to generate predictable sales time and time again.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Always prioritize the customer
I hope sharing these mantras and insights will guide and inspire new CEOs as they embark on their leadership journeys, helping them build strong, adaptive, and successful teams.
